 BizTV Network’s DAM999 has made a tremendous opening at the cinemas both in 2D/3D and have received a grand reception from the audience. The official trailer of the movie aggravated the political dispute of 2 states over an outdated dam in the southern part of India alerting the entire nation about the consequences of a dam collapse.
Irrespective of all the controversial issues the movie released in 325 centers in India on the 25th of November and collected over Rs 4 crore in the first week. The producers received mixed reviews and was quiet excited to see the enthusiasm of the majority of the audience who appreciated director Sohan Roy being his debut feature film. The multi-lingual songs of DAM999 along with its 9 characters were well appreciated by the mass. The movie is running successfully in cinemas with a fully packed house on its third weekend. |
